Lakeside Book is hiring a Bindery Operator 2 - BMO, also described as a Lead Bindery Operator, to set up, adjust, operate, and maintain auxiliary and automatic bindery machines that process printed sheets into books, catalogs, manuals, directories, magazines, and other finished products. The role also inspects equipment for safety issues, coordinates multiple workstations, directs the production crew, and monitors quality, output, and productivity. Candidates need extensive knowledge of binding, folding, collating, cutting, paper properties, machine capabilities, tools, and production instructions, along with the ability to perform physical adjustments and occasional heavy lifting.
