The Buck Institute for Research on Aging is hiring a full-time Bioinformatics and Data Scientist or Postdoctoral Researcher to join an interdisciplinary aging research team. The role analyzes proteomics, metabolomics, methylomics, survey, and multi-omics datasets; develops bioinformatics workflows; curates and harmonizes research data; and collaborates with scientists, computational biologists, and external collaborators on grants, manuscripts, data visualizations, and presentations. The position requires a relevant PhD, at least two years of professional research experience, and proficiency in R, Python, and Bash scripting. It is a full-time onsite position in Marin County, California, with a salary of $80,000–$85,000, health insurance, paid leave, retirement matching, and visa sponsorship.
