Description
EMBL-EBI is hiring a Bioinformatics Developer for its Human Genomics Team to maintain and develop the DECIPHER platform, which supports rare-disease research, patient diagnosis, and clinical data sharing. The role involves integrating molecular and phenotypic data, deploying bioinformatics tools, analysing genomic data, designing data structures and user interfaces, supporting users, translating stakeholder requirements into specifications, performing ad hoc analyses, and collaborating with internal and external partners. It is available on a full-time or part-time basis at 80% of full-time hours, with a two-year grant-based contract, hybrid working, and a monthly salary of £3,452.05 or £3,861.91 after tax depending on grade.
