Description

Moderna is seeking a Bioinformatics Software Engineer to join their international business services hub in Warsaw. The role involves ensuring the reliability, quality, and compliance of critical bioinformatics pipelines, monitoring system performance, identifying deviations, and driving continuous improvements. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen scientific software platforms, utilizing advanced digital technologies like automation and Generative AI.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: 10+ years of relevant work experience
Experience using a bioinformatics workflow framework (e.g. NextFlow, Luigi, Snakemake)
version control systems (Git preferred)
Cloud (AWS preferred)
containers (Docker preferred)
Experience with Computer System Validation processes.
Experience in a GxP environments and knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with bioinformatics software and an understanding of neoantigen therapies
Proven experience in software quality assurance and quality control
