Description
The Puyallup Tribe of Indians is hiring a full-time Biologist for its Shellfish department. The role coordinates shellfish resource management, conducts stock assessments and fieldwork, represents the Tribe in inter-governmental negotiations, develops regulations, monitors water quality and sanitation compliance, supports aquaculture and dive-safety programs, maintains harvest databases, and assists with research and grant development. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in biology or fisheries, two years of related experience or training, a Washington State driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and the ability to swim and dive.
