Bay Area Hospital is hiring a full-time Biomed Equipment Tech I for its Bio-Medical department. The role is responsible for repairing, calibrating, maintaining, inspecting, installing, and performing preventive maintenance on basic clinical equipment under relatively close supervision. The position requires basic electromechanical knowledge, general computer software skills, effective communication, safe use of tools and test equipment, and preferred credentials include an associate’s degree or CABT/CBET certification, with six months of inpatient hospital or health care facility experience preferred.
