Description
The Biomedical Engineer plans, trains others, and installs, maintains, and repairs sophisticated medical equipment and systems used for patient diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring. The role performs scheduled and corrective repairs, equipment installation and deinstallation, inspections, maintenance, electrical safety testing, and documentation; collaborates with biomedical specialties, KPIT, business partners, and OEM representatives; and requires frequent travel for shared-services support, occasional travel for stationary-site support, technical training, after-hours work, and weekday and weekend on-call emergency service.
