Description
The Biomedical Equipment Technician I provides clinical equipment services under close supervision, including performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety checks, calibrations, repairs, installations, and troubleshooting of general biomedical equipment. The role also maintains equipment databases and inventory, supports regulatory compliance, manages customer relationships, and coordinates subcontractors and vendors. An associate degree in a technical or electronics field, equivalent military experience, or two years of equivalent experience is required; three months of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering environment is preferred. The position requires a valid driver’s license, variable travel, on-call rotation, and no remote work.
