Description
The Biopharmaceutical Process Development Lead will lead in-house process development, pilot-scale fermentation equipment and process design, intermediate- and commercial-scale facility design, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and process improvements for microbial products. The role collaborates with discovery research, quality, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams; requires a PhD or MS with substantial biopharmaceutical process development, engineering, or manufacturing experience, plus supervisory or leadership experience. The position is based on-site in Austin, Texas, with travel to customer offices, field sites, other MaverickX facilities, and industry events as needed.
