Arista Networks is hiring a BIOS Software Engineer to develop, integrate, test, and maintain low-level CPU firmware, BIOS, and boot loader software for its networking products. The role involves bringing up and validating new CPU boards, integrating CPU and BIOS vendor firmware, contributing to Linux kernel and open-source BIOS communities, debugging low-level software, supporting customers and system tests, and providing technical leadership and mentorship. Candidates need a relevant degree plus three years of experience, or an MS plus two years, or a Ph.D. plus one year, along with extensive C programming experience and experience in CPU firmware, BIOS, and boot loader environments.
