Arista Networks is hiring a BIOS Software Engineer to develop, integrate, test, and maintain low-level CPU firmware, BIOS, and boot loader software for its networking products. The role involves bringing up new CPU boards, qualifying CPUs with vendors, contributing to Linux kernel and open-source BIOS communities, debugging firmware, supporting customers and system tests, and providing technical leadership and mentorship. Candidates need a relevant degree plus three years of experience, or an MS plus two years, or a Ph.D. plus one year, along with extensive C programming and CPU firmware experience. The base salary range is $123,000 to $191,000, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage for eligible employees.
