Description
Cirad is hiring a Biostatistician Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract at its Montpellier Baillarguet site, starting 01/12/2026 and ending 30/11/2027. The role supports researchers and students in managing, processing, and analyzing data; advising on statistical methods and scientific programming; promoting FAIR data practices; developing surveillance tools; disseminating results; and leading training workshops. The position requires a master’s degree or equivalent experience in statistics, data science, bioinformatics, or a related field, proficiency in French and English, R, and knowledge of statistical, data-management, and reproducible-programming practices. The base salary starts at €31,000 in France, excluding expatriation allowances.
