Description
The Black Unity Center Student Engagement Specialist serves and advocates for students of Black and African descent at San Francisco State University, providing individual and group advising, mentoring, coaching, referrals, and support for academic, personal, financial, and career needs. The role also plans and implements retention-focused engagement programs, manages communications and marketing materials, and collaborates with student organizations, academic and student affairs units, and community partners. It is a one-year probationary, full-time position with a Monday-through-Friday schedule, telecommute eligibility, and an anticipated salary of $5,540 per month.
