Description
Sasser’s CF Rail Services team is hiring a Blaster for first shift to operate blasting equipment and prepare railcars and other components for coatings or surface cleaning. The role includes inspecting railcars, protecting sensitive parts, changing hoses and nozzles, maintaining equipment, using scaffolding and hand and power tools, measuring blast profiles, and following safety and environmental procedures. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, related experience or training, and documented training in equipment operation; the work is outdoors and indoors, involves heavy equipment, and may require overtime or varied shifts.
