Description

The Tube Vehicle Restoration and Painting Technician prepares tube vehicles and related parts for painting by removing accessories, stripping grease, dirt, paint, and rust, sanding, and abrasive blasting surfaces to bare metal. The role also handles vehicle electrical fixtures, identification plates, parts, roadworthiness, equipment setup and maintenance, hazardous-waste disposal, booth and paint-storage cleanliness, paperwork, and final-stage trailer checkout. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while two or more years of manufacturing or blasting experience is preferred. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
