Description
The Blaster Operator provides operational support for blasting programs by following supervisor instructions, monitoring equipment parameters, transporting explosives and accessories, controlling traffic in blast zones, guiding factory trucks, and ensuring blast holes are primed, loaded, and stemmed according to the blast design. The role also assists with minor unit operations and requires secondary education, knowledge of production processes and safety protocols, and availability for a 14 x 7 schedule; two years of loading and stemming experience is preferred.
