Description

The Blending Operator monitors and operates computerized blending systems to distribute raw materials accurately and efficiently in a manufacturing environment. The role includes maintaining silo and material-bin levels, transferring materials between railcars, silos, and production areas, inspecting raw materials, staging trailers, operating yard trucks, completing inventory counts, and maintaining records. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of relevant manufacturing or material-handling experience, basic computer skills, forklift certification or the ability to obtain it, and the ability to work in a fast-paced 24/7 environment. The schedule is 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM, two days per three days, with a stated pay rate of $21.50 per hour and eligibility for a $3,000 bonus.
