Description
Ford is hiring a BMS Design Release and Technical Delivery Engineer to own the release, quality, timing, and supplier delivery of battery management system controller assemblies from concept through production launch and into the field. The role covers BOM and CAD release, cost and investment commitments, obsolescence and change management, manufacturing launch, design and process quality documentation, warranty and field investigations, program timing, and supplier technical delivery. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field, at least seven years of engineering experience including production electronic hardware release through launch, and experience with quality documentation, supplier delivery, and post-launch resolution. The position is hybrid with onsite work four or more days per week and offers a base salary of $99,100 to $166,200; visa sponsorship is not available.
