Description
The BMS Developer owns the end-to-end architecture, supplier technical delivery, verification, validation, functional safety, calibration, and system integration of a Battery Management System for battery packs. The role includes defining requirements and performance targets, reviewing hardware, software, algorithms, and safety concepts, executing SIL/MIL/HIL and system-level tests, managing CAN and other interfaces, and leading root-cause analysis. It requires a master’s degree or PhD in a relevant engineering field, at least five years of battery systems engineering experience, supplier BMS validation experience, ISO 26262 certification, fluent English, travel willingness, and knowledge of Python, MATLAB, Simulink, DFMEA, risk analysis, and Vector CAN tools.
