Description
BAE Systems is hiring a Boats New Build Project Engineering Manager for a hybrid role based in Broad Oak, requiring three days onsite. The position leads the design, development, and delivery of new-build maritime projects, including the UK MOD Littoral Strike Craft bid, and oversees engineering teams, classification-society approvals, design reviews, subcontractors, programme delivery, risk and cost management, and stakeholder engagement. The role requires strong maritime or naval engineering leadership experience, knowledge of classification rules, systems integration, and tools such as NX or Maxsurf, along with Chartered Engineer status or the ability to achieve it.
