Description
The Auto Body Technician assesses, repairs, and restores damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition in an auto body shop. Responsibilities include preparing cost estimates, removing and replacing damaged sections, repairing dents and structural damage, replacing glass and interior parts, welding, painting, and inspecting completed work. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a technical school program or a three-year apprenticeship, the ability to work with minimal supervision, teamwork, and physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform repairs in varied conditions.
