Description
The Stationary Engineer operates, monitors, troubleshoots, and maintains industrial boilers, wastewater treatment systems, water softeners, compressed air systems, cooling towers, HVAC equipment, and other facility utility systems in a manufacturing environment. The role also performs preventive and corrective maintenance, supports facility startups and shutdowns, coordinates with contractors and vendors, maintains safety and regulatory compliance, and works assigned shifts and overtime as needed. A high school diploma or GED, a valid City of Los Angeles Steam Engineer's License, and at least five years of experience operating and maintaining industrial boilers and utility systems are required.
