Thiess is hiring an off-site Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform quality repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet at its Mt Thorley Industrial Estate rebuild facility. The role involves using technical manuals and computer-based systems, maintaining tools and workshop standards, conducting pre-start checks and risk assessments, and following safety procedures. Applicants need a Trade Certificate in Engineering Fabrication or equivalent, post-trade experience in mining, heavy earthmoving, or hydraulic excavator industries, and preferably an HR driver's licence, EWP, dogging, and MDG25 qualifications.
