Description
The Boilermaker will construct iron and steel structures for an industrial new-construction plant, including reading blueprints and specifications, fabricating and erecting columns, beams, girders, and other structural members, rigging equipment, aligning steel, bolting and riveting, cutting, bending, and welding. The role requires at least four years of experience in a Boilermaker Helper, Boilermaker Ironworker, or comparable position, the ability to work at heights exceeding 300 feet, reliable transportation, and the ability to perform physically demanding work involving standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
