Description
Agnico Eagle is hiring an Underground Ground Support Technician to report to the Mine Supervisor and install rock bolts, mesh, and other ground-support systems in underground mining operations. The role includes operating bolting and underground equipment, inspecting and maintaining equipment, following mine plans and safety procedures, monitoring ground conditions, and installing mine services. It requires at least 4,000 hours of underground bolting experience, knowledge of ground-support systems and mine plans, strong safety and teamwork skills, and the ability to work in confined underground spaces. The position follows a 14/14 schedule at the Detour Lake Mine site, with accommodation provided.
