Description
The Boltmaker Operator sets up and operates boltmaking machinery, including wire-drawing, header, pointer, roll, track, and conveyor sections, while meeting production and quality goals. The role uses measurement tools and blueprints, troubleshoots equipment, performs preventative maintenance, records machine performance, secures raw materials, and maintains a safe work environment. A six-month training process is required, with initial first-shift training followed by second-shift work. The position requires physical ability to lift or maneuver up to 50 pounds, stand for eight or more hours, and work overtime as needed.
