Emerson is hiring a Bill of Materials Engineer in FCEC, Chennai to break down model numbers into part numbers for factory procurement, testing, and assembly. The role creates and validates BOMs for pressure relief valves using Master Parts Lists and SAP Variant Configurator, supports engineering and application teams, manages SAP part numbers and data, participates in RCA/CAPA sessions, and maintains work records and reports. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, strong English communication, and MS Office proficiency are required; BOM experience, pressure relief valve knowledge, SAP knowledge, and familiarity with ASME and API standards are preferred.
