Description
The Bookstore Associate is a seasonal, part-time, limited-contract role supporting a bookstore during the August and January back-to-school rushes. Duties include cashiering, customer service, processing and picking up online orders, stocking and unpacking textbooks and other items, maintaining shelves, and other assigned tasks. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of retail and customer service experience, cash-handling experience, physical ability to stand for at least five hours and lift 25 pounds, and experience in a fast-paced, demographically diverse environment. The posting is open for applications on an as-needed basis and pays $19.38 per hour.
