Description
The BOP Cost Analyst calculates and manages costs for bought-out parts in automotive interior programs. The role analyzes RFQs and engineering drawings, assesses technical and economic feasibility, develops process flows, calculates EXW purchase prices, creates and updates Faurecia Reference Costing (FReC) files and BOP summaries, supports purchasing negotiations and customer discussions, benchmarks competitor products, maintains costing databases and tools, and presents costing results. It requires an engineering degree focused on automotive production, 6–10 years of industrial experience, automotive interior product and supplier technology knowledge, strong analytical and communication abilities, and fluency in English plus another language; German is preferred.
