The Behavior Coordinator will advise adoption center staff on matching animals with challenging behavior, create and implement behavior modification plans for dogs, instruct staff on adoption recommendations, lead animal behavior training for staff and volunteers, and provide guidance on low-stress handling, vaccination, medication administration, and euthanasia. The role also includes pre-adoption counseling, hands-on adopter training, and post-adoption support for families.
