Description
The role operates and manages enterprise boundary management servers, firewalls, DNS, BIND, proxy servers, email gateways, and related network infrastructure at AFCENT NOSC COOP. Responsibilities include analyzing firewall reports and logs, troubleshooting ACLs, proxies, Open BSD permissions, network outages, intrusions, backups, remote administration, security device implementations, and LAN/WAN support. The position requires 5+ years of network or systems engineering experience, a related bachelor’s degree, Security+, Network+ or CCNA, ITIL Foundations, firewall and UNIX/Linux experience, enterprise network architecture knowledge, network monitoring experience, and a current Secret clearance; applicants must also be U.S. citizens and pass a U.S. government security investigation.
