Description
The Boiler Room Engineer monitors and operates boiler plant systems and equipment, performs adjustments and routine and preventative maintenance, responds to alarms and emergencies, maintains work records and logs, coordinates with contractors and vendors, and follows safety and lockout/tagout procedures. The role requires independent work with limited supervision, rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, storms, and overtime, and prefers 1–2 years of prior boiler engineer experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
