Description
The Brake Operator sets up and operates a power brake to bend, form, and straighten sheet metal and structures according to blueprint specifications. Responsibilities include positioning dies, fastening clamps, laying out work stock, activating the machine ram, measuring parts, and inspecting with radius gauges. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 18 years of age, and the ability to work in a noisy, non-climate-controlled environment; previous manufacturing experience and blueprint-reading skills are preferred. The schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with possible overtime.
