Pride Bodies Ltd., a Wabtec Company in Cambridge, Ontario, is hiring a Brake and Shear Operator to work in the Brake and Shear Department. The role involves reading shop drawings, taking work orders from start to finish, operating brakes, shears, and cut-off saws, fabricating doors, shelving packages, and standard body panels, documenting materials and scrap, and supporting the fabricating area. The position requires a high school or GED, reliable attendance, safety awareness, accurate measurements, engineering-drawing comprehension, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The schedule is a day shift from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to noon Friday, with hourly pay of $27.69 to $34.42 and benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage.
