Description
The Brave Advisor Program Coordinator will collaborate with YAB members and OCFS staff to plan and lead youth leadership activities, facilitate youth development and organizational development, supervise YAB members, manage board and recruitment activities, and support mentees in navigating child welfare, juvenile justice, educational, employment, and housing systems. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, personal lived experience in child welfare or juvenile justice, knowledge of New York State resources, computer literacy, communication and facilitation skills, event-planning ability, and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
