Description
Modiform is hiring a Breakdown Technician to maintain and troubleshoot production equipment in a modern 5-shift horticulture manufacturing environment. The role covers mechanical and electrical fault resolution, preventive and corrective maintenance, operator support, root-cause analysis, and technical improvements across extrusion lines, thermoforming machines, robots, PLC controls, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electric drives, and variable-frequency drives. Candidates need prior experience in a breakdown, maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or all-round technician role, production or industrial experience, and an affinity for mechanical and electrical engineering; a NEN 3140 certificate is a plus. The position offers up to €5,500 gross per month including a 28% shift allowance, a 5-shift schedule with four days off per cycle, vacation, travel reimbursement, a fully paid pension, tools, and training opportunities.
