Description

Women's College Hospital (WCH) in Ontario is seeking a temporary full-time Breast Imaging technologist. The role involves performing Breast Imaging procedures, operating and troubleshooting medical imaging equipment, preparing reports, and participating in professional development. Candidates should have a Medical Radiation Sciences Diploma/Degree in Radiography/Radiological Technology, CAMRT certification, current registration with CMRITO, and preferably 3-5 years of experience in an outpatient hospital setting. The position requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to ongoing learning.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 3-5 years experience in an outpatient hospital setting
Preferred Qualifications: Successful completion of post diploma/degree Mammography courses – Mammography course 1/Breast Imaging 1 and Mammography 2/Breast Imaging 2 via the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
Commit to on-going continuing education

Ability to work effectively and communicate respectfully within a supportive interprofessional team environment
Demonstrate strong technical skills, navigate competing priorities, and utilize good judgement to ensure work is always performed in the best interest and safety of the patient and the team

Ability to be trained in breast ultrasound

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
