Description
The Breeder Service Technician supports and monitors breeder flock health, welfare, and productivity while providing technical guidance to contract growers. Responsibilities include farm inspections, safety meetings, pullet movement and biosecurity, vaccinations and medication, flock evaluation, productivity analysis, egg collection and hatchability monitoring, and employee training. The role requires a driver’s license, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to lift 50 pounds or more; a poultry science degree or 2–5 years of related experience is preferred. The schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional weekends, and the base salary is $60,600–$73,600.
