Description
The Breeder Service Technician supports and monitors breeder flock health, welfare, productivity, biosecurity, nutrition, and environmental conditions. The role provides technical guidance to contract growers, conducts farm inspections, coordinates pullet movement, performs vaccinations and medication administration, evaluates birds, analyzes productivity metrics, manages hatching eggs and hatchability records, and assists with employee training. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in poultry science or a similar field preferred, a current driver’s license, 2–5 years of directly related experience preferred, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to lift 50 pounds or more. The schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional weekends, and benefits begin after 60 days of employment.
