HDR is hiring a Bridge Engineer for its Alabama/Mississippi Structures Group. The role leads technical bridge design work for transportation projects, including structural planning, analysis, and design of steel plate girder, prestressed concrete, segmental and cable bridges, box culverts, and highway and railway interchanges. The engineer may serve as a technical specialist or project manager, supervise junior engineers and EITs, and work from the Flowood, Mississippi, Birmingham, Alabama, or Mobile, Alabama offices. A bachelor's degree, prior bridge design experience, and a Professional Engineer license are required; a master's degree and at least three years of bridge design experience are preferred.
