HDR is hiring a Bridge Engineer in Ontario to apply structural analysis and detailed design methods to bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other civil structures. The role involves preparing design calculations and documentation, reviewing EIT work, supporting quality control, collaborating with CAD and BIM staff, contributing to construction specifications and tender documentation, assisting with project management, presenting work to clients, and supporting bridge-design proposals. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree, prior bridge-design experience, and a professional engineering license recognized in the position's location; preferred qualifications include a master's degree in structural engineering, at least three years of bridge-design experience, and familiarity with bridge-analysis and design software.
