Description
HDR is hiring a Bridge Engineer for its Transportation Business Group. The role involves structural engineering and detailing for highway and railway bridge projects, including steel plate girder, prestressed concrete, segmental and cable bridges, box culverts, and interchanges. Responsibilities include selecting design procedures, developing structural details with specialized software, performing load calculations, supporting geometric layouts and quantities, and reviewing or checking work from junior engineers and EITs. A bachelor's degree, prior bridge-design experience, and a Professional Engineer license are required; a master's degree and at least three years of bridge-design experience are preferred.
