HDR Engineering is hiring a Bridge Inspector for its South Carolina team, with potential office locations in Charleston, Columbia, Greenville, or Fort Mill. The role performs bridge and structural inspections, prepares NBIS-compliant reports, conducts structural load calculations and load-rating analyses, and supports rehabilitation and design work using tools such as BrR, MicroStation, ProjectWise, Google Earth, and Bluebeam. The position involves coordination with clients and subcontractors, extensive travel, fieldwork in varied and sometimes hazardous conditions, and occasional nights and weekends. A high school diploma is required; an associate or bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field and two years of relevant experience are preferred. Visa sponsorship is unavailable.
