Description
HDR is hiring a Bridge Section Manager to oversee the operations of its bridge section, including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control, marketing, project production, and coordination with other sections. The role also functions as a Project Manager for bridge steel plate girder, prestressed concrete, box culvert, and interchange design projects, while managing technical personnel and multidisciplinary teams. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least 10 years of experience, and professional registration or licensing where applicable; preferred qualifications include a master's degree in civil or structural engineering, professional engineer status, Florida Department of Transportation experience, bridge rehabilitation and load-rating experience, industry organization activity, and familiarity with bridge engineering software.
