Description
AECOM is hiring a senior bridge engineer to provide technical guidance for the design, construction, supervision, rehabilitation, and maintenance of major bridges and highway structures. The role reviews designs, drawings, calculations, specifications, and construction methods; supervises bridge construction; inspects materials and structural components; assesses bridge conditions; recommends repairs and strengthening; monitors operations and maintenance; investigates defects and failures; and coordinates with clients, project managers, contractors, and design consultants. The position requires a civil engineering degree, at least 12 years of bridge-project experience, experience with major bridges and bridge O&M, and a medical certificate of fitness for candidates over 60.
