Description
The Child and Youth Program Assistant provides developmental care and instruction for children and youth from 6 weeks to 18 years, assists with curriculum, activities, play materials, classroom and outdoor areas, supervision, safety, meals, and communication with families and staff. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, English communication ability, physical ability to handle children and objects, and completion of specified Department of War training; prior experience with children or youth is preferred. The position requires background checks, immunizations, a pre-employment physical, CPR and First Aid certifications, and completion of required DoW and Service training.
