Apple is hiring a Software Engineer for its Core Platform Bring-up team to bring up, debug, and verify next-generation iOS hardware platforms. The role develops low-level firmware and drivers, supports hardware and software troubleshooting across simulators and labs, partners with silicon, driver, security, and validation teams, influences hardware specifications, and builds automation tools. Candidates need 3–5 years of systems-level or embedded software experience, strong C or C++ skills, computer science fundamentals, and a bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent experience.
