Description
The Brittles Manufacturing Quality Engineer will lead quality and reliability for advanced brittle materials and components at mass-production scale. The role partners with hardware engineering, product design, process engineering, suppliers, and global teams to assess designs and processes, develop quality plans and measurement systems, validate test methods and gauges, analyze material failures, improve yields, and establish supplier audits. Candidates need a master’s or Ph.D. in a materials-related field, expertise in brittle-material structure-property-processing relationships, hands-on failure analysis and characterization experience, and strong data science and communication skills.
