Bloomberg Media is hiring a part-time contract Broadcast Director/Technical Director in New York to lead and support live TV production in a fast-paced control room environment. The role conducts pre-show meetings and pre-broadcast testing, verifies video and audio signal flows, directs technical crew during a three-hour live broadcast, switches cameras and remote feeds using a Sony MVS switcher, manages playback and LED graphics, and communicates issues to team leads. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of live TV experience, multicamera production directing experience, and strong communication and decision-making skills; early-morning weekend availability is required. The listed salary is 65–75 USD per hour, and benefits are available to employees but not contingent workers.
