TEGNA’s KXTV-TV Sacramento is hiring a full-time Broadcast Engineer to maintain broadcast hardware, IT systems, servers, and related equipment across studio, transmitter, remote broadcast vehicle, and other remote locations. The role includes troubleshooting, repairs, security updates, documentation, occasional field work, and minor building maintenance, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call availability. Candidates need 3–5 years of broadcast engineering or related experience, a current driver’s license, and the ability to operate a news-gathering vehicle; the pay range is $28.85–$30.77 USD.
